What are the Responsibilities of the Lead AV Technician?

Lead AV system installations and system service : cabling, devices, digital signage, conferencing, and more

Install and maintain cabling infrastructure and audio / visual devices including pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications and drawings.

Program and commission systems using Crestron, Extron, and Biamp tools

Build racks, ensure clean cable management

Interpret blueprints and system diagrams

Mentor and train junior technicians

Ensure projects stay on track, on time, and exceed client expectations

Maintain strong client relationships and represent our client with professionalism in the field

What are the Requirements of the Lead AV Technician?

5+ years of experience of AV exposure (installations, system design, etc), at least 1 year of senior level or Lead experience

Proven experience with commercial AV systems

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Bonus : CTS, Extron, Biamp, or Crestron certifications
