Job summary

Summit RAM in Ponoka, Alberta, part of the Kaizen Automotive Group, seeks a Working Service Shop Foreman to supervise the service department and perform advanced diagnostics. You will lead technicians, ensure OEM standards, and balance hands‑on work with team leadership in a fast‑paced shop.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a dealership setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified automotive technician with OEM master or journeyman certification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills with knowledge of OEM procedures.
• Experience in a leadership/foreman role within an automotive dealership is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the service technician team while performing advanced diagnostics and repairs.
• Oversee daily shop workflow, ensuring proper job dispatching and on‑time repair completion.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting and quality control for all repair work.
• Ensure repairs meet OEM standards, warranty guidelines and dealership policies.
