Lead Analyst (Regional Manager), Real Estate Transactions - Transmission (T & I) (Telework/Hybrid)

This role is a contract position for a one-year maternity replacement, based in Toronto, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Role Overview

The Lead Analyst (Regional Manager), Real Estate Transactions, Transmission, will negotiate and manage business activities related to owned and leased transmission assets in the Western region. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Asset and Lease Management, you will serve as the primary contact with landlords and tenants, managing regional site sharing, lease management, and identifying new revenue opportunities and cost-saving measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and manage leases and licenses for transmission facilities to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
  • Ensure legal, operational, and financial compliance of agreements.
  • Handle financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting for agreements.
  • Coordinate external engineering studies to ensure infrastructure integrity.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external clients, resolving conflicts and building consensus.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in negotiating and managing leases/license agreements, with success in financial principles and contract law.
  • Industry knowledge of technology, transmission systems, and telecommunications.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite; quick learner of new tools.
  • Outstanding organizational, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Fluent in English; French is an asset.
