Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB Canada is seeking a Lead Developer for the Algo Trading project in the Bonds division, based in Montreal. You will coordinate the Montreal team and collaborate with Paris-based colleagues to deliver robust trading algorithms.

You will participate in development and maintenance of the algo trading platform for Bonds, Repo, Credit and UST, provide level 3 support, and drive code quality through CI/CD, code reviews, and proactive risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• You will supervise the team of developers based in Montreal.
• You will participate in the coordination of projects carried out between Paris, London and Montreal.
• Produce quality code in compliance with CMI guidelines (CI/CD, code coverage...)
• Participate actively in code reviews
• Provide input on technologies used in the algorithmic trading framework
• Monitor technological developments
• Support the business in implementing new algorithms, gathering information on their needs
• Ensure that new algorithms fit into the existing architecture, and that they can be supported by the Run teams
• Report proactively and transparently all development risks and problems encountered, and propose mitigation solutions
• Work closely with development teams and stakeholders based in France
• Participate in agile meetings across multiple sites and time zones
• Contribute to cross-functional technical discussions with global teams (code reviews, architecture alignment, sharing best practices)
• Ensure continuity and traceability of development work carried out in Montreal for the teams in France

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the algo trading platform for Bonds, Repo, Credit and UST.
• Provide level 3 support on this perimeter.
• Coordinate and supervise Montreal team members.
• Align projects with Paris/London teams for smooth execution.
