The Role

As a Securities Lawyer, you will work on investment funds and asset management mandates. You will be involved in the structuring, formation and operation of various investment vehicles, with direct exposure to regulatory, transactional and strategic issues.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review fund agreements and investment-related documentation
• Participate in the structuring and formation of private equity and other investment funds
• Advise asset managers, financial institutions and investors on legal, regulatory and compliance matters
• Work on complex investment structures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on strategic mandates
• Participate in cross-border matters
• Maintain professional relationships with market stakeholders

Ideal Profile

• Member in good standing of the Québec Bar
• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in investment funds and asset management
• Experience gained in private practice
