Associate Lawyer - Estate Litigation - 8+ years of experience

A well-established, full-service litigation law firm in downtown Vancouver is seeking an experienced associate lawyer to join its growing Estate Litigation group. With a longstanding reputation for quality client service and exceptional advocacy, the firm offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal professional. A portable practice and book of business is an asset, but not required. The successful candidate will manage a diverse range of files and must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strong client service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Develop effective case strategies in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
  • Manage a full caseload from initiation to resolution.
  • Maintain a strong dedication to providing exceptional client service.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the firm's continued growth and reputation.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
  • Minimum of 8 years of estate litigation experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
