The Legal Services Division at the City of Toronto is seeking lawyers for two contract positions within our real estate law practice group. Join a team of 27 real estate lawyers working alongside clerks, conveyancers, and administrative staff to support projects including affordable housing developments, shelters, parks, community centres, and critical infrastructure. Applicants must be members in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and possess excellent drafting, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Salary Range: $128,976.46 to $173,414.78
Salary is commensurate with experience, with a possibility of contract extension. Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of real estate-focused practice experience, demonstrating an increasingly complex and sophisticated real estate portfolio in their resume.
Salary Range: $173,414.78 to $207,026.91
Salary is commensurate with experience, with a possibility of contract extension. Candidates for this senior position should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate law, including leading complex purchase and sale transactions, lease arrangements, and mixed-use development projects.
