Job summary

Living Sky School Division No. 202 invites applications for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant at Lawrence Elementary School. The role focuses on supporting student learning in small groups and in classrooms to foster engagement and success.

Ideal candidates will have Grade 12 and experience with children; a post-secondary certificate in Early Learning/Childcare or Youth Care is a plus. Applications close by December 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset.

This posting is for a Temporary Full-Time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant Position at Lawrence Elementary School, commencing as soon as possible, and ending December 1, 2026. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.
