Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasonal full-time Lawncare Technician for our lawn care division. Hours vary based on company needs; candidates must be available Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with a flexible schedule. Students are welcome to apply, but must be available full-time during summer from approximately April to October.

Job Duties:

1. Operate fertilizer spreader and fertilize lawns
2. Operate power roller and mechanical aerator
3. Apply grass seed and other lawn care products
4. Perform aeration, lawn rolling, weed spray applications, fertilization, and pest control
5. Make lawn maintenance recommendations

Qualifications:

• Experience with lawn care equipment (aerator, roller, spreader)
• Pesticide certification (asset)
• 'G' Class driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Customer service experience (preferred)

Additional Information:

• Must be 18 or older
• Hourly rate: $19 - $22, depending on experience
• 4% Vacation Pay
• 40+ hours/week
