Carta is seeking a Junior Paralegal to join our North America Contracts team in Toronto. You will rotate across or specialize within one of three practice areas depending on your strengths and interests, contributing to a fast-paced, AI-enabled legal operation.
You’ll support lawyers with first-round markups of investment-related NDAs and commercial contracts, manage document lifecycles, deadlines, and communications with counterparties, and assist with execution.

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our expected cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:
$66,400 - $83,000 CAD in Toronto
We are hiring for multiple levels and locations, so final offers may vary from the amounts listed based on geography, experience and expertise, and other factors.
