Job summary

Carta is seeking a Junior Funds Paralegal to join the Americas Funds team in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare initial drafts of LP transfer documents and coordinate with transfer parties and lawyers to ensure smooth workflows.

You will build commercial and legal expertise over time, with opportunities to take ownership of client accounts and progress toward qualification as a practicing legal professional. This role supports private capital transactions globally.

• Prepare initial drafts of LP transfer documents (transfer agreements, consents, subscription agreements)


• Liaise with transfer parties on process and timings, and assist with execution workflows


• Work closely with lawyers and senior paralegals, contributing to high-quality client delivery across fast-moving, high-volume matters

The Team You'll Work With

You will be joining our Funds team in the Americas Region.

• Legally educated (preferred). An undergraduate Law degree or equivalent is preferred; a GDL is welcome. Prior exposure to LP Transfer processes is a plus but not required.
