What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Assist with corporate matters, including filings, drafting resolutions, and coordinating board meetings
  2. Update and maintain corporate documentation and global group structure charts
  3. Coordinate continuous disclosure and filings with Canadian and U.S. securities regulatory authorities
  4. Support legal professionals with corporate, securities, and M&A transactions
  5. Conduct online research and due diligence while collaborating with various departments and external advisors

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience at a law firm or corporate legal department
  2. Law Clerk certification/diploma from a recognized Law Clerk program
  3. Knowledge of Canadian corporate and securities laws; familiarity with LatAm matters is a plus
  4. Experience with SEDAR and SEDI filings; EDGAR experience is a plus
  5. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Experience using Blueprint OneWorld or similar company secretarial software
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, electronic signature software, and document assembly software
