What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist with day-to-day corporate matters including filings, registrations, and drafting corporate documentation
Coordinate disclosures and filings with Canadian and U.S. regulatory authorities
Provide support to other legal professionals within the organization
Conduct online research and due diligence for corporate matters
Oversee the updating of global legal entity records in the company’s database
What is Required (Qualifications):
5+ years of experience at a law firm or corporate legal department
Law Clerk certification/diploma from a recognized Law Clerk program
Knowledge of Canadian corporate and securities laws and regulations
Experience with SEDAR and SEDI filings; experience with EDGAR filings is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Familiarity with LatAm matters
Experience using Blueprint OneWorld or similar company secretarial software
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and electronic signature software
