Job Overview

Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen according to standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be dependable and prompt, arriving on time and ready to work in a clean uniform and nametag
• Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers following all safety practices
• Process sorted linen using washers, dryers, and folding equipment
• Inspect linen regularly for tears, holes, or sub-standard conditions and report issues to the Executive Housekeeper
• Notify supervisor of equipment malfunctions, supply needs, or damaged linens to ensure efficient laundry operations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Empty lint traps after each load for safety
• Follow all hazardous chemical procedures
• Assist in replenishing clean linens, amenities, and supplies in stock rooms on each floor
• Help maintain safety equipment and emergency procedures for guest and employee safety
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous manner always
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education/Experience

Minimum of 1 year’s experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality preferred. Exceptional performance will be considered.
