Position Summary

The Topnotch Resort is seeking reliable, hardworking, energetic Laundry Attendants to join our team. The primary responsibility is to ensure the proper sorting and distribution of laundry to meet high-quality standards.

Essential Functions

1. Transport dirty and clean linen and terry to and from the hotel/spa and laundry facilities.
2. Empty laundry chutes and prepare loads for washing.
3. Pre-sort and separate linen by classification and transfer to work stations by lifting, carrying, or transporting.
4. Operate folding equipment for mats, blankets, towels, and bedspreads, including the ironer.
5. Identify laundry requiring mending or stain removal.
6. Clean empty hampers.

Support Functions

1. Assist washers by pushing carts from washing to drying areas.
2. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, carry, push, or pull heavy loads and stand for long periods. May require lifting bundles weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Basic understanding of English to comprehend safety labels and instructions.
