Job summary

AgeCare in Ontario is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary long-term care residence for residents, visitors, and staff. You will perform a variety of housekeeping tasks to ensure a welcoming and hygienic environment.

This role requires prior housekeeping experience and a minimum of public-school education, with compensation at $21.47 per hour. Applications are reviewed by our team; Canadian work experience is not required.

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Operates a floor machine to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor, and office floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.

What You Will Need

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• A minimum of public-school education is required.

Salary: $21.47 per hour
