Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform laundry services, including cleaning and distributing linens to clients. You will maintain clean, orderly laundry areas and follow approved procedures to ensure high hygiene standards.

In this role you will sort, wash, dry, fold, and stock linens, transport supplies, and inspect for wear. The position requires operating washers, dryers, a linen press, and a labeler, and the ability to work alone or with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry is an asset.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Physically able to carry out duties of the position.
• Able to operate laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, linen press, and clothing labeler.

About you:

• Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry or equivalent combination of training and experience is an asset
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Able to operate laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, linen press, and clothing labeler
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team setting
• Physically able to carry out duties of the position
