Job summary

The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority in Lac du Bonnet is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to join the Lac du Bonnet PCH team.

Under the direction of the Manager, Support Services, the Laundry Aide performs linen processing and mending, ensuring courteous service and adherence to work schedules, policies and safety procedures.

This 0.8 FTE role covers days, evenings and weekends, with wages as per the applicable collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
• Previous related experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform mental and physical aspects of the position.
• Satisfactory employment record.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, Support Services and/or Lead Hand the Laundry Aide performs the assigned duties in accordance with established work schedules, policies and procedures and safe work procedures. The Laundry Aide performs the assigned duties related to processing, and mending of linen and laundry. Courteous service is a critical component to this position. The position of Laundry Aide functions in a manner consistent with, and supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority.
