Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)

Number of Positions: 2

Job Duties:

1. Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
2. Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
3. Take children for outdoor activities or field trips to local points of interest
4. Prepare reports for parents or supervisor regarding potential learning or behavioural problems
5. Guide children in the development of healthy eating, proper dressing and toilet habits
6. Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
7. Maintain an environment to protect health, security and well-being of children
8. Co-ordinate activities of other ECE teachers and ECE assistants

Job Requirements:

1. Experience: Experience is an asset
2. Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
