Middle School Language Arts Teacher

Paris, ME

Oxford Hills Middle School serves approximately 500 students in grades 7-8. OHMS has two campuses located about 2 miles apart, one in South Paris and one in Oxford. The successful candidate will be passionate about instruction, student achievement, and best practices.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidates must hold a valid Maine certificate or the ability to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s).

Reports to: Building Principal

Work Schedule: 180 Day Contract

Oxford Hills Middle School is looking for a teacher who is passionate about Language Arts. Language Arts Teachers at Oxford Hills Middle School work directly with students to help them grow as thinkers, guided by the Maine Learning Results. At OHMS, we work with students from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities. We strive to help students develop a love for Language Arts. All OHMS teachers work as a member of a grade level team and have the opportunity to collaborate with both their teams and departments regularly.
