Job summary

SAKAI Landscape & Design is seeking a Landscaping Supervisor to oversee crews and coordinate garden maintenance across multiple locations.

This full-time permanent role in Canada requires English, secondary education, and at least 3 years in landscaping, with 30 hours weekly at CAD 37/hour.

You will schedule work, estimate materials, train workers, and report progress to clients on site.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements: Completion of secondary school.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in landscaping.
• Language: English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscapers and helpers who maintain gardens and other landscaped areas.
• Organize the planning and maintenance of gardens and other landscaping work and assign duties to workers.
• Plan, estimate, and maintain materials and labour requirements.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities.
• Resolve issues and report progress to clients.
• Train workers in job duties and safety procedures.
• Assist in hiring workers and managing operations of the company.
• Perform the same duties as landscapers such as pruning, trimming, paving stone installation, building waterfalls, retaining walls, garden fences and patios, maintaining lawns, etc.
