Role and Responsibilities: The Landscaping Crew Member will assist with daily landscaping tasks on the base, ensuring safety and efficiency under supervision.

• Perform routine checks and equipment maintenance daily.
• Landscaping Tasks:
  • Trim hedges and remove weeds
  • Maintain landscaping beds
  • Mow, rake, edge, and prune plants
  • Spray lawns, shrubs, and trees
  • Plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs
  • Water lawns and shrubs
• Clean drainage ditches and culverts
• Operate machinery safely, including tractors with attachments
• Wear safety gear and report unsafe areas
• Collaborate with Crew Leader to meet standards

Qualifications: No experience required!

Preferred Skills: At least 1 year of landscaping experience is preferred.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects
• Stamina for physically demanding tasks
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Exposure to noise, dust, and dirt
• Handle hazardous materials safely
• Wear PPE and follow safety guidelines
