Landscaper

• Employer: Saunders Landscaping & Renovations Ltd.
• Business Address: 283075 Township Road 240, Rocky View, Alberta T1X 0M8, Canada
• Job Location: Based in Calgary, Alberta. Saunders Landscaping has sites located at various locations in the Calgary region and surrounding areas. Travel to Edmonton and other locations in Alberta may be required. Travel expenses are paid as per company policy.
  • Financial support for relocation is available for out-of-province applicants.
• Wage: $28.85 – $30.35/ hour (based on skills and experience/salary increases as per company policy)
• Benefits: Health Spending Account after completing the 3-month probationary period, Bonuses provided based on performance, Employee incentive program
• Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal employment, Full-time, 40 to 60 hours per week (weather-dependent), Morning, Days, Weekends, Overtime.

Duties:

• Plant and move trees
• Plan and construct landscaped environments, which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, pergolas, and other landscape structures
• Prepare base for and install pavers
• Plan the leveling and grading of loam
• Install, operate, and repair irrigation systems
• Construct retaining walls
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Landscaping plant identification
• Mentor labourers
• Abide by Saunders Landscaping safety program
