What We’re Looking For
Novatech is seeking a Landscape Technician graduate to join our established and growing Landscape Architecture team. We are looking for someone who is inspired to create landscapes that meet the needs of communities and foster environmental benefits. What You’ll Do
• Help conduct site inventory and analysis
• Assist Landscape Architects prepare conceptual and detailed design
• Help prepare graphic presentations, design briefs and technical reports
• Assist in developing cost estimates and tender documents
• Support contract administration and field review activities
• Work directly with planners, other landscape architects, land development and municipal engineers, and other team members as part of an integrated project team

Skills & Experience You’ll Need
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign), SketchUp, Revit, and PowerPoint is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong design, graphic, computer, and technical writing skills.
• Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
• Related experience through student work placement is an asset.
• A valid Province of Ontario driver’s license.

Education and Accreditation Required
• Landscape Technician certificate from a recognized institution.
