Landscape Technician

Location: 9310 74 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB T8V 6G3

Salary: $22.00/hour, 35 hours per week

Terms: Permanent, full-time, starting as soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Trim trees for various pruning objectives including crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning
• Manage landscaping projects and estimate costs
• Survey and assess designated sites
• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
• Apply treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing, and injecting treatments
• Direct crews maintaining golf courses and landscapes
• Diagnose problems and diseases in trees and shrubs
• Plan and coordinate plant growth and uses for landscaping and ornamental purposes
• Plant and maintain lawns and gardens, and move trees as needed

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience of 1 to less than 7 months
