Deveraux Apartment Communities has been a comprehensive, professional property management firm since 2011. It presently manages over 5100 multi-family apartment units in Regina, Moose Jaw, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and NOW Calgary. As a Landscape Technician, you will report directly to the Facilities Manager. The Landscape Technician will actively engage in tasks associated with the maintenance and preservation of property grounds within a designated portfolio. The overarching objective is to consistently ensure residents' high satisfaction by delivering exceptional service to all residents.

What you bring...

  • Preferred qualifications include two years of experience in landscaping services.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of both verbal and written English language.
  • Display a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and exhibit attention to detail. Proficiency in operating Aerators, Power Rakes, Power washers, Line painting equipment, and other landscaping hand tools is a requirement.
  • Experience operating machinery such as bobcats or skid steers is an asset.
  • Availability to work weekends, overtime, and 10-hour shifts is a must.
  • Ability to problem-solve and take accountability for all actions and decisions and follow through until resolution is achieved.
  • A valid class 5 driver's license is required (class 3 an asset)
  • Be capable of lifting at least 50lbs.

You will...

  • Perform physically demanding work on a regular basis to maintain all property grounds.
  • Regularly service and maintain all equipment, tools, and cleaning equipment.
  • Manage lawn and grounds maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, top dressing, and weed spraying, as well as sprinkler system maintenance.
  • Operate snow removal machinery as needed.
  • Plan and execute minor landscaping repairs and replacements such as sod, trees, shrubs, and other vegetation.
  • Maintain small landscaping equipment and tools.
  • Conduct lot cleaning, line painting, sanding, and shoveling.
  • Ensure compliance with Deveraux Apartment Community Standards by keeping the property and grounds clean.
  • Fulfill other duties as directed by Management.

You must be legally eligible to work in Canada (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check.
