Job summary

Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited in Brantford, Ontario is seeking a full-time Landscape Technician to join our outdoor landscape team. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, with 40+ hours per week and a focus on customer service.

You will remove and install sod, topsoil and seed lawns, build interlock walkways and plant shrubs and trees. Training and advancement opportunities are available; benefits apply to permanent full-time staff.

Qualifications

• G Class driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a full-time Landscape Technician to work in the landscape division. Hours will vary depending on company needs but the ideal candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Job Duties

• Remove and install sod
• Topsoil and seeding lawns
• Create and/or repair interlock walkways and patios
• Planting shrubs, trees, perennials and annuals

Qualifications

• 'G' Class drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
• Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs
• Customer service experience preferred

Additional Information

• $18 to $23 / hour depending on experience
• 4% Vacation Pay
