Job Description

As the Landscape/Snow Removal Manager, you will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and experience. You will be responsible for property maintenance and landscaping work during the summer, and snow removal operations in the winter. This role reports to the Operations Manager and oversees a team of approximately 20 people during peak summer season, and about 10 during winter.

Responsibilities

1. Creating job plans and coordinating equipment and resources
2. Directing on-site crews
3. Communicating with clients and team members professionally and courteously
4. Ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures
5. Estimating landscape and snow removal operations
6. Assisting crews with operating power equipment such as lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, snow plow trucks with spreaders, power rakes, aerators, etc.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of relevant experience
2. 3+ years of leadership experience
3. Technical/College Diploma in Horticulture (asset)
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
5. High attention to detail and organizational skills
6. Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
7. Experience operating various snow plowing equipment
8. Knowledge of plant cultivation, diseases, pests, and treatment options
