Fox Harb'r Development Ltd O/A Fox Harb'r Resort in Nova Scotia is seeking a Landscape Labourer (seasonal) to support landscape construction and maintenance. The role involves outdoor work, operating common landscape tools, and contributing to daily progress reports.

The position is full-time-seasonal (270 days) with a start date around April 1, 2027. Wage is $19.00 per hour for 40 hours weekly, with potential relocation housing and on-site accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape constructions.
• Tying
• Weed, prune and trim trees and plants.

• Lay sod or seed and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees.
• Apply fertilizers and manage basic garden care.
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment as directed.

Job Description

• Assist with landscape constructions
• Tying
• Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
• Cut grass
• Rake and collect refuse
• Remove litter and garbage
• Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
• Lay sod or seed
• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
• Apply fertilizers
• Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens,as directed, to control insects and disease
• Write daily basic progress reports
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides
• Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors,chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and otherlandscape maintenance equipment
• Load and unload trucks with supplies andequipment

Important Information
