Reporting to the Foreman, the Landscape Labourer supports all aspects of landscape installation and maintenance. Responsibilities include planting, mulching, sodding, pruning, preparing garden beds, material handling, site cleanup, shoveling, and operating basic landscaping equipment.

How You’ll Add Value

• Actively contribute to a safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment
• Prepare work areas by clearing debris, weeds, and unwanted vegetation
• Spread soil, mulch, and other landscaping materials using rakes, shovels, and hand tools
• Dig planting holes for trees, shrubs, and flowers, ensuring proper depth and spacing
• Operate landscaping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and compactors
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, dust, and asphalt exposure

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 1 year of landscaping experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a Driver’s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions
• Construction Safety Orientation (CSO) is preferred
• Physically capable of safely lifting and carrying 40 lbs regularly
