Job summary

Alpha Better Landscaping is actively seeking a Field Leadhand/Foreperson in Calgary to lead construction and heavy equipment crews on major landscape projects across multiple communities. You will coordinate daily work, manage subcontractors, ensure safety, and drive production to meet schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate should have field supervisory experience, a valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record, and willingness to work long hours in varying weather.

Qualifications

• 2 years of field supervisory experience or large-scale landscape construction experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.
• Experience operating landscaping and construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule key construction activities weekly and set production priorities.
• Coordinate, manage, and motivate crew members and subcontractors.
• Support team to meet daily production targets and project schedules.
• Ensure health & safety of crew and site, including training and incident reporting.
• Provide daily production reports and timesheets for costing.
• Develop client relationships and attend project meetings.
