Job summary

Clintar Hamilton is seeking an experienced landscape and softscape professional to lead a crew on outdoor enhancement projects across the City of Hamilton.

You’ll oversee garden, tree and shrub installations, mulch and hardscape work, interlock, decking and fencing, and operate trucks and equipment. You’ll coordinate crews, ensure safety, and keep projects on schedule while communicating with customers on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, softscape, or hardscape construction.
• Crew leadership or supervisory experience.
• Valid G license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew on landscape enhancement projects, ensuring quality and safety.
• Coordinate tasks such as plant installations, mulch, pruning, interlock, decking and fencing.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are the same. You’ll lead and work alongside a crew completing a variety of landscape enhancement projects, including:

• Garden, tree, and shrub installations
• Mulch installation and property enhancements
• Pruning and seasonal landscape improvements
• Interlock, stone, grading, and hardscape projects
• Decking, fencing, and concrete work
• Operating trucks, trailers, dump bodies, and landscaping equipment
• Coordinating crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Communicating with customers on-site and ensuring a positive experience

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who leads by example, works hard, and takes pride in delivering quality results.

You should have:

• Experience in landscaping, softscape, or hardscape construction
• Crew leadership or supervisory experience
• A valid G license with a clean driving record

• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• The ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
