We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking Construction Foreman to join our team and build a career in crafting beautiful landscapes. As Foreman, you will be both leading a crew on-site and working alongside our Project Managers and Landscape Designers to complete top-quality projects. Responsibilities include installation of hardscape materials, plantings, and operations of various tools and equipment. A Construction foreman will assist with managing client expectations, delegating their crew’s tasks, as well as communicating with subcontractors and suppliers.

Location: Serving Niagara Peninsula, based out of Fenwick, ON.

Job Type: Full-time

Wage: Competitive pay

Responsibilities:

• Lead and work alongside a landscaping crew on residential and commercial projects.
• Coordinate tasks passed down by the Project Manager.
• Manage tools, materials, and equipment to ensure site safety and deliver top-quality results.
• Interpret landscape designs and ensure projects are completed on-time and within scope.
• Manage client expectations, as well as subcontractor and supplier communications.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years direct experience in a landscaping construction environment.
• Experience in a leadership role or strong leadership potential.
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Completion of a college or university level landscape/ horticulture program or equivalent knowledge of the industry is considered an asset.
• Possess a valid driver’s license (G or higher).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job including but not limited to lifting, kneeling, carrying, and crouching.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
