The Green Rainwater Infrastructure Branch designs, delivers, and manages a variety of assets, called green rainwater infrastructure (GRI), that treat, retain, and detain rainwater runoff from streets and other public spaces. Within the team this position will be responsible for producing GRI designs and supporting project implementation from planning through construction. Typical projects include corner bulge bioretention, rainwater tree trenches, permeable pavements and larger scale assets like stormwater wetlands.
Education and Experience:
Where operationally appropriate and subject to change, the City of Vancouver has a Flexible Work Program. This program allows staff to work a hybrid work week from locations that are a daily commutable distance from their work at a City worksite. At this time this position is eligible to be part of the Flexible Work Program.
