Job summary

The City of Laval is seeking a Landscape Architect to participate in land development, analyze and design technical solutions, and prepare plans, specs and calls for tenders. You will ensure compliance with plans and specifications in Laval’s administration of buildings and parks.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, have three years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and ASP card (an asset). This role is hybrid with a 33.75-hour week in Laval.

SALARY: Class 7 – from $82,714.37 to $108,801.61 / year

SCHEDULE: 33.75 hours per week, DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 08:30 to 16:30

WORKING MODE: Hybrid

WORK LOCATION: Administration of Buildings, Parks and Public Spaces, 2550 INDUSTRIAL BLVD 2ND FLOOR A/S ADMINISTRATION OF BUILDINGS, PARKS AND PUBLIC SPACES LAVAL H7S 2G7

The challenges that await you

You will participate in land development to ensure the integrity of the Laval landscape and propose the necessary mitigation measures. You will analyze, design, and propose technical solutions to issues within your area of expertise and participate in the preparation of plans, technical specifications, and calls for tenders. Finally, you will ensure that the work performed complies with the plans and specifications.

The ideal profile for us

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture;
• Member in good standing of the Quebec Association of Landscape Architects, an asset;
• Three (3) years of relevant experience in the role;
• Possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle;
• Hold an ASP card.
