Duration: 18 Months

About the Role:

Join us at ATCO Electric as a Lands and Environment Clerk (Clerk III). As a valuable member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, where you will be challenged to excel and make a difference.

What You’ll Do:

  • Apply strong organizational skills to proactively support department’s business functions and project administration processes
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth departmental operations
  • Create and manage purchase orders and requisitions in Oracle
  • Prepare and maintain routine reports using established templates and processes
  • Draft correspondence, manage document processes and main records and manuals
  • Manage and maintain records efficiently, ensuring accuracy and easy retrieval
  • Manage and coordinate furniture and equipment inventory including IT inventory
  • Process financial transactions (travel, credit card, etc)
  • Receive, track, verify and process invoices and support budget processes
  • Develop and support administrative processes and conduct continuous improvement activities
  • Participate in Lands and Environment department meetings and prepare meeting minutes and agendas
  • Support the department with the timekeeping process, enter time exceptions and run monthly and quarterly reports
  • Prepare, sort and distribute mail and courier packages, including troubleshooting mail returns
  • Assist with special events
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • 1 year experience in a related role
  • Proficient skills in the use of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, SPIN II, ETS, IHS, Corporate registries, Abadata and Oracle)
  • Experience in Land Administration is considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational and time management skills with an ability to handle multiple competing requests
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
