The City of North Bay invites applications for the role of Landfill Attendant - Environmental (Temporary Part-Time) at Merrick Landfill Site. Reporting to the Landfill Operations Supervisor, you will help ensure daily operation, monitoring and environmental compliance.

The position requires a Diploma in Environmental Science or related field, forklift certification, and strong computer, report-writing and public interaction skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum (1) one year diploma in environmental science or related field
• Six (6) months previous Landfill or equivalent acceptable experience
• Forklift training certificate
• Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software
• Demonstrated ability to deal with the public; good communication skills
• Sufficient clerical ability to complete daily reports
