Key Responsibilities

  1. Draft and review planning reports.
  2. Maintain and strengthen client relationships.
  3. Manage and stay current on relevant planning policies.
  4. Coordinate with clients, agencies, and authorities to obtain project requirements and approvals.
  5. Perform other project management tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

  1. College or University degree in Planning, Geography, GIS, or related field (asset).
  2. One year of experience in professional land use planning services or related field.
  3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS software.
  4. Strong critical thinking skills.
  5. High attention to detail and report accuracy.
  6. Experience representing clients at LPAT (asset).
  7. Engineering Technician (2-year) diploma.
  8. Interest in construction and engineering.
  9. Experience in permit drawing packages (asset).
  10. Technical drawing with AutoCAD required.
  11. Experience with SketchUp and Layout (asset).
