Our Ideal Candidate

We are currently seeking a British Columbia Land Surveyor in Training to join our office in Kamloops, BC. As the successful candidate, you will work under the mentorship of our Land Surveyors to develop professionally in your line of work.

A Day in the Life

  • Conducting legal surveys for the determination, establishment and location of real property boundaries and natural or human made features
  • Prepare and maintain drawings, official plans, records and documents pertaining to these surveys
  • Other surveying services such as topographic, hydrographic surveys, precise construction layout, "as built" surveys and deformation surveys
  • Other duties as required

We have purchased all new Trimble gear, so come work with top-of-the-line gear!

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Geomatics Degree or Diploma
  • A Certificate of Completion from the Canadian Board of Examiners for Professional Surveyors is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in legal land surveying and/or construction surveying is an asset
  • Experience with Civil 3D or survey processing software is an asset
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of dependability
  • Ability to travel and work out of town for periods of time when called upon
  • Willingness to learn and contribute in a dynamic team environment is essential
  • A valid driver’s license is required
