Land Manager – Kent £80,000

Salary: c£80,000 plus package

Housing developer based in Kent urgently require a Senior Land Manager to join the team.

Site locations will be Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Essex and will be mainly build now sites although they will acquire strategic sites that can come to fruition within a 5 – 7 year period in addition.

The role will suit someone who has an extensive list of contacts in these areas and be able to create deals from their pro-active methods in acquiring Land.

Acquisitions will need to be from 50 – 150 units, and sites can be bought stp or unconditionally and will not need to be financed as this house builder is very well funded and can clear funds for the deal. They will in addition look at sites that are consented providing there is value in building out or ability to optimize the planning to make it more attractive.

The role will be to originate and find deals, appraise, help secure planning before being handed over to the construction team to build out.

This role will suit someone who has good ‘off-market’ contacts with Land owners, funds as they tend to not use agencies if possible to keep margins strong.

This is a very secure role, expectations are to buy up to 3 sites a year in these areas and the role offers an excellent work life balance for someone who seeks security in the role and who wants to complete on deals.
