The Land Analyst will report to the Land Manager and remote working environments will be considered. The ability to travel to project areas is required, along with the capacity to work remotely from home.
Responsibilities
- Dedication to culture, safety, client success, community, and growth
- Regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager
- Prepare line lists, notifications, and crossings as per regulatory requirements and ensure copies of all are saved in electronic and physical files
- Review, understand, and analyze title information, chain of title, and title opinions.
- Enter and maintain ownership information into land database and ensure checklists up to date and complete
- Provide weekly status updates and reports to required clients
- Prepare lease documents as requested using approved templates and wording, in compliance with project instructions, confirming that all provisions are approved for use by client or Project Manager
- Manage influx of multiple daily requests with close attention to time sensitive information, task deadlines with ability to schedule overlapping activities to meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player
- Ability to plan and organize workload, adjust to changing priorities, and work well under pressure without supervision.
- Coordinate mapping of all tracts with GIS and updating of status of tracts, units and projects.
- Submit documents for recording to county recorder or clerk offices as dictated by project instructions and/or Project Manager.
- Securely maintain all original documents and project data.
- Assist and support recruitment tasks
- Assist in the onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Any other duties required
- Take reasonable care and action to protect your safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your actions or omissions
- Ensure proper use of safety equipment, clothing and devices
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near misses
- Comply with LandSolutions policies and procedures, and applicable laws
Competencies
- Ideally you will have 5+ Years of practical experience in title, renewables, power generation, or transmission
- Any experience level with preferred experience in Land, Planning, Administration, or Real Estate
- Good organizational and communication skills including written and verbal
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, and GIS software applications
- Thorough understanding of land contracts and revision tracking
- High attention to detail with the ability and interest in learning to schedule time, prioritize and mastering land administration procedures
Special Job Dimensions
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both by phone and in person
- Some duties may require working under deadlines and time constraints
- Daily use of company computer and knowledge of software programs utilized by Industry related companies
- The ability to travel to project locations when needed
- Produce various special reports for Project Manager
