Job summary

Total Oilfield Rentals is seeking a Labourer to support daily operations at our Suncor location. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will perform general labour duties and help maintain yard and equipment safety.

This temporary role runs for 3–4 months, with potential for hours outside standard shifts. You will be involved in EH&S activities, equipment preparation, and on-site logistics in varying weather conditions.

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate loaders and light vehicles; ensure load securement.

Job description

Total Oilfield Rentals (TOR) offers rental and transportation of drilling, completion and production equipment to the oil and natural gas industry throughout Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. Our mission is to exceed customer expectations by supplying superior rental equipment, transportation services and product support.

Position Summary

Total Oilfield Rentals is currently looking for a Labourer to join our team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Labourer will be responsible for performing general labour duties to support daily operations.

This position is Temporary and is based out of our Suncor location.

Time Commitment

Duration will be from 3 to 4 months. You may be required from time to time to work outside these hours as the need arises. Schedule may be altered at the discretion of management.

Summary of Duties (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following):

Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S)

• Follow EH&S systems, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in FLHAs, hazard identification, incident reporting, and safety programs.

Project Planning & Organization

• Support scheduling, equipment, and inventory planning.

Field Operations

• Maintain safe, reliable, and organized yard operations.
• Conduct orientations, inspections, housekeeping, and hazard identification.
• Ensure PPE, training, reporting, and drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Manage hazardous materials, fuel, equipment, and site supplies.
• Coordinate environmental sampling and support continuous improvement.

Administration

• Complete FLHAs, inventory tracking, and fuel/propane orders.

Equipment & Operations

• Set up, operate, and maintain loaders and support equipment.
• Operate and maintain light vehicles and towing trailers.
• Set up and maintain generators, light towers, trailers, loaders, vehicles, and fuel tanks.
• Ensure proper load securement and safe loading/unloading procedures.

Working Conditions

• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
