Job Description

Under the supervision of the site manager, the labourer will be responsible for sorting different types of metals using manual processes.

1. Sort the different metals according to their characteristics;
2. Prepare the material to meet the quality criteria (e.g. cutting aluminum);
3. Work with different types of machinery (forklift);
4. Ensure that the premises remain clean at all times;
5. Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles;
6. Assign the correct type of metal to the metals provided by the customer;
7. Participate in shipping tasks;
8. Assist with torch cutting as needed;
9. Provide excellent customer service;
10. Perform other related duties.

Qualifications

1. ON-SITE TRAINING!
2. Minimum experience of 12 months as a day laborer;
3. Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment;
4. Knowledge of metals (an asset);
5. Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, caps, helmets, gloves, etc.).

Additional Information

1. Temporary position, full time Work schedule:
2. Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3. Work indoors and outdoors.
