Qualifications

• Experience in construction or telecommunications is asset but not mandatory.
• Experience around fiber optic, telecom, utility, HDD, or civil construction is asset.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home for long durations.
• Outdoor work in varying weather and physically demanding tasks.
• Safety, teamwork, and accountability are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Support telecommunications, underground utility, and civil construction crews
• Assist with excavation, trenching, conduit installation, and site prep
• Hand digging and exposing utilities as required
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment
• Assist equipment operators, drill crews, locators, foremen, and field personnel
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas
• Perform general labour and construction duties
• Follow safety policies and site requirements
• Complete other duties as assigned

BAAC Construction is looking for dependable, hardworking Labourers to join our growing field team.

While many construction companies slow down during the winter months, BAAC is ramping up. We are looking for people who are ready to work, willing to travel, and want to be part of a growing company with ongoing project opportunities.

Experience working around telecommunications, fiber optic construction, utilities, civil construction, or underground infrastructure is considered an asset, but it is not required. We are willing to work with people who bring the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on the project and may include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting telecommunications, underground utility, and civil construction crews
• Assisting with excavation, trenching, conduit installation, and site preparation
• Hand digging and exposing utilities where required
• Loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials and equipment
• Assisting equipment operators, drill crews, locators, foremen, and other field personnel
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Performing general labour and construction-related duties as required
• Following company safety policies, procedures, and site requirements
• Completing other duties as assigned based on operational and project needs

Employees must be willing to assist wherever required and understand that duties may change depending on the needs of the project, crew, or company.
