Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to join as a Labourer, Non-ferrous Receiver. This role is vital in our daily operations and offers an exciting hands-on work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and organize non-ferrous metals
• Classify and identify the type of material
• Weigh and track materials accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the premises
• Ensure equipment is in good condition
• Perform data entry into the RECY system
• Assist with torch cutting if needed
• Prepare shipments and handle receiving equipment using a forklift
• Adopt a safety-oriented mindset

Qualifications:

• Fluent in French
• Forklift operation experience
• Experience in metal recycling
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good physical fitness
• Teamwork skills
• Excellent attendance and safety record

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to noon
• 40 hours per week
