Job summary

Northern Strands Group of Companies is seeking Group Services Labourers to join their Saskatoon team. These hands-on roles support maintenance, shipping/receiving, and site assistance, with on-the-job training provided.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, physically fit, and eager to learn new skills through on-the-job training in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Valid Class 5 driving license.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads safely.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
• English communication skills and willingness to complete a pre-employment drug test.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on work aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance tasks across projects.
• Support shipping and receiving activities.
• Provide on-site labour support and general site assistance.
• Operate hand tools and machinery as trained.
• Follow safety protocols and directions from supervision.
