Position Overview:

Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world's largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently recruiting for a Labourer in Mildred Lake. This position is responsible for general labourer duties in a service-oriented environment. If you are mechanically inclined and have a valid driver's license, this might be the perfect job for you!

Job Description:

• Moving equipment in and out of the shop
• Aiding mechanics with the removal and installation of guards
• Oil sampling, lubrication, and oil changes
• Washing and detailing of equipment
• Assisting field and shop mechanics as required
• General cleanup of shop, yard, field sites, parts, and machines
• Other general duties as required

Qualifications:

• Completion of grade 12 and mechanically inclined
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license with a recent, successful driver abstract
• Self-starter able to follow directions, assist, and work under the supervision of a J/Field Serviceperson with the motivation to contribute positively to a safe team environment
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Experience in heavy equipment maintenance, basic equipment knowledge, and preventative maintenance is an asset

Note:

• This position operates on a 7x7 shift rotation based at the Mildred Lake facility
• Candidate selection will comply with the current Collective Agreement
• Future shift changes will be made in accordance with the Collective Agreement
