Job description

GFL is looking for a part-time General Labourer to support our operations in Niagara Falls, ON. Your primary responsibility will be to perform physical and manual tasks at various Marine and Industrial job sites across Canada. This position reports to the Project Manager daily, with overall responsibility under the Marine & Industrial Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general labour tasks including but not limited to: degreasing, pressure washing, hydro blasting, tank cleaning, setting up and tearing down equipment.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and machines such as power drills, sprayers, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.
  • Participate in all work-related tasks assigned by your Supervisor at various locations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Represent the Company by providing professional customer service to clients, customers, and vendors both on and off the job site.
  • Work efficiently to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high-quality standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Key Competencies:

  • Previous experience in the marine industry or working on industrial job sites is a definite asset.
  • A minimum G license is preferred.
