Essential Responsibilities

• Perform highway maintenance tasks such as crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting, etc.
• Assist with traffic control procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Perform other road maintenance duties as required
• Work outside in all weather conditions

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Flagging is a strong asset
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Provide a 3-year driver’s abstract

Work Conditions

• Local applicants may be given preference
• Shift work, on-call, and night shifts may be required due to weather conditions
• Benefits and RRSP provided by CLAC

Compensation

$19.62 - $24.17 per hour. Wages are based on trade certification, experience, and location. Additional incentives may apply for remote positions.
