Basalite Concrete Products-Vancouver, ULC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete products in Western Canada. POSITION SUMMARY: Production personnel to engage in entry level activities of our manufacturing processes. Position is considered full time seasonal. R esponsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION: General

RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Production / assembly line work
• General laboring and housekeeping
• Hand stacking and piling products
• Machinery operation
• Inspection for quality and conformance
• Regular attendance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. T he requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Basic arithmetic skills
• Previous experience working in an industrial setting.
• Healthy, fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Regular attendance is required.

Salary: $ 26.31/hr.
